Paul Miller
Paul is an executive at a fortune 500 company. As well he is a musician whose band, Crazy Jane has been featured on WAAF, WNYN 99.9 The Eagle, Rock 101 and several other radio stations around the country. His band has appeared on television and played at The Tweeter Center in Mansfield Ma. Paul also has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from U Mass Lowell with a concentration in Philosophy.
On a business trip to India, his friends in Chennai (Madras) all recommended he try Yoga. In 2007 Paul took his first class at NH Power. He was hooked. 6 months later Paul was practicing daily.
Taking every workshop he could find he decided to try teacher training bootcamp with Baron Baptiste. His goal was to just learn more. At Bootcamp Paul fell in love with the idea of teaching. “I felt it would be a great way to deepen my practice and learn more about Yoga, all while helping others do the same. The Journey has been amazing, and it has just begun.”
Recently Paul completed his teacher training with Beryl Bender Birch. Beryl studied with Norman Allen, the first westerner to master Astanga Series and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois the founder of Astanga Yoga. Beryl is the bestselling author of Power Yoga, Beyond Power Yoga and Boomer Yoga. She was named one of seven American women “innovators shaping yoga today” by Yoga Journal in 2000. Asked about his time with Beryl Paul said “Teacher training with Beryl was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and transformed how I practice yoga on and off the mat.”
